Welcome … The Beacon Advertiser is an independent publication delivered monthly to over 8000 homes in the South Hams. The 'Beacon' is delivered FREE door to door, which means readers don't have to rely on picking the magazine up in a local shop, they have the convenience of having it delivered straight to their door every month ... and what's more - it's FREE !
The magazine is A5 in size, printed in an environmentally friendly way in full colour, on high gloss re-cycled paper and contains a wide range of advertisements from local businesses as well as regular articles, editorials, puzzles and local information and events.
The aim of the magazine is to help local businesses grow and to make local residents aware of all the local businesses and services available within our surrounding area. Generally people prefer to use the services of a local business but are often unaware that they may have a plumber who lives round the corner or an electrician just down the road.
Many small businesses can't afford to advertise in larger publications or newspapers but our magazine is very cost effective. A longer term contract is recommended to build awareness of your business. The more people that see your advert the more you become the first to contact as and when readers need that particular service. Additional discounts are available for longer term bookings.

Deadline for advertising or community information is on the 15th of the month preceding publication, however don't leave it too late as we do fill up very quickly and can't always just add in extra pages!
